Question---do I need to rescan the group photos (#17, 18, 19) at a higher resolution?

This is the last of the batch of people pictures from Taap Mun.

I also have a few pictures from the forum at the Lion's Club. I think that was a training camp for the participants to the Taap Mun project. Can somebody remember more? And where is the Lion's Club Camp locat4d?

That was just the end of Taap Mun. I still have Sa Law Wan and Nga Choi Hang, and many smaller events (e.g., the movies outings). Those will be forthcoming.

And yes, I know those would be more than adequate for the monitor. Supposedly, for the monitor, a resolution of 72 dpi is adequate. But I recently read a piece that says that that was not quite true. But I don't really understand the explanation.

From my own estimates, I think scan files of 4" X 6" size at 600 dpi should be adequate for enlargement to a 8" X 12" print when printed at 300 dpi. For newspaper type of printing, the output resolution would be no more than 150-200 dpi. (These estimates came from the Calculator in the Scantip.com site that I quoted in one of my early message.)
